What we do
Koz Axiom is a freight desk. We work between cargo owners who need space and operators who have it.
We do not own vessels or equipment. Bookings are placed and documented by the licensed operator or forwarder handling the shipment. Our part is to find the match, keep the details straight, and stay on the file until the cargo is delivered.
This is a small desk. You deal with one person from enquiry to delivery — no ticket queue, no handover between departments.
Cargo we handle
- ISO tank containers — liquid chemicals, including IMDG Class 3, 6.1 and 8.
- Dry containers — packaged chemicals in drums, IBCs and bags, and flexibags for non-hazardous liquids.
- Breakbulk and part cargo where a full container is not the right fit.
Dangerous goods
Dangerous goods are quoted through the operator's DG desk, not around it.
Before any rate is discussed we need the UN number, class, packing group and a current MSDS. Where a commodity carries an IMDG special provision, the packing and pre-treatment requirements are settled before the enquiry goes to a carrier — not after the booking is confirmed.
If a cargo cannot be carried the way it is described, we say so at the enquiry stage.
Lanes
Enquiry coverage: Gulf, Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, East Africa, North Africa and China.
Where a lane carries war risk or restricted routing — at present this includes ports inside the Strait of Hormuz — the premium and the empty repositioning cost are shown as separate lines, not folded into a single figure.
How we work
Send us: commodity, with the UN number if it is dangerous goods; packing; cargo weight; port of loading; port of discharge; equipment type and number of units; cargo ready date; Incoterm.
You get back: the named operator, the rate basis, what is included and what is not, and how long it is valid.
No rate leaves this desk without a carrier or an operator behind it.
